“Time is just another flow of Energy. It is only limited by the box we put it in.”

How many times do you hear people say “I never have enough time”, “There are not enough hours in the day”, “time just runs away with me”?

Or there’s the opposite… “time is dragging”, “the clock just doesn’t seem to be moving” etc etc…

Have you noticed how time flies when you are having fun but drags when you are bored and almost seems to stand still when you are waiting for something exciting to happen? When you are really looking forward to something it seems to take forever to happen yet when you are dreading something it comes up so quickly.
A minute of pain seems to last forever; a minute of joy passes all too quickly.

Time changes according to our perceptions and feelings, our thoughts and and emotions.
If time speeds up or slows down as a result of how we unconsciously think or feel, what do you think we could do with time if we consciously applied those same perceptions, thoughts and emotions??

The Law of Attraction states that we attract to us everything we think, feel and do.
If you are always worrying about time and telling yourself that you don’t have enough of it then you WILL find that time absolutely run away from you.
And the opposite is true as well!

So next time you find yourself worrying about lack of time just STOP…. take a breath and remind yourself that time is merely a flow of Energy that contracts or expands to the size of box that our thoughts, feelings and perceptions build for it.

Take your matchbox size perception of time and imagine it expanding into a HUGE box of seemingly endless proportions with Time joyfully bouncing around instead of being squished into a tiny little box.

You will be surprised at how much more time you suddenly find you have.

Have an amazing day filled with ALL the time you need to do everything you want.

Bumps in the Road!

We all have them……

Bumps in the road; falling off the wagon (whichever wagon you happen to be on – mine is staying focused on my business!); face planting the road to your hopes and dreams; making a wrong turn sometimes.

It’s easy to give up at this point.

In fact for some this bump or fall, face plant or wrong turn, is exactly the excuse they have been waiting for to be able to give up and go back to their comfort zone of moaning and bitching, having a pity party and generally joining in with the “Life’s not fair” brigade.

The successful people in life are the ones who don’t make excuses, don’t see excuses and who don’t give up.

Bumps in the road may slow you down but maybe you actually NEED to slow down for a little bit!!

Physical bumps in the road, the ones that threaten to tear your exhaust off if you drive over them any faster than 5mph are put there for a reason – SAFETY. For us and those around us, maybe our own personal or business “bump” is actually keeping you or someone else safe. Slowing you down for a reason perhaps???

Falling off the wagon – now that can really hurt, and it stops you dead in your tracks.

Its easy to believe you have failed and so you give up. But this is the point where you have to remember that nothing is a failure until you give up on it.

Falling off the wagon or face planting the path to your dreams is NOT failure…….unless you choose to give up.

Get up, get back on the wagon, get back on your path and you have NOT failed. You have a choice at this point – make sure it’s a good choice, the right choice.

And as for making a wrong turning, heading in the wrong direction, going round in circles until you feel dizzy – what do you do about that?

Well, pretty much the same as those other bumps, falls and face plants……….. STOP!!!

Take a deep breath and stop panicking. There is a way back out of every hole; there is a way of correcting your course and getting back on track.

You have a built in Sat Nav – it’s called your intuition, your gut feeling… and if you had actually been tuned into it in the first place you wouldn’t have made that wrong turning but I know that the noise of life with all it’s distractions often means that we can’t or don’t want to listen to our intuition.

And so we go wrong.

So what!!!

Take a look around you. Take time to understand why this place you are in is not the right place for you to be.

Or maybe it’s actually the right place right now because there is something you need to learn from being here?

Nothing in life is a mistake – it is simply a decision you or I have made that leads us to a different outcome than the one we were expecting and every “mistake” is an opportunity for learning.

Embrace your “wrong turnings” – be grateful for them, for the lessons they are teaching you and use your in-built sat nav to help you find your way back to your true path.

And remember, before you think about making any other changes to your planned route in life just stop before you make that turn…..

Take a breath. Tune out all the noise around you, the advice, information, pressure, bright sparkly objects etc and listen to what your gut instinct, your intuition, your heart is telling you.

It may not be what you want to hear but it is ALWAYS, ALWAYS right.

Have an awesome day.

Lessons in Life

I have lived so much of my life thinking, believing and feeling that I was a failure, not good enough, incapable of succeeding in life or business or as a daughter/wife/parent etc.

What we believe we are we become.

We can hope, we can dream but without belief nothing will ever come of those hopes an dreams. And so we give in to the negativity over and over again and slowly our hopes and dreams wither and die before ever reaching fruition.

I see so many people crushed by self-doubt, fear of judgement, a negative view of who they are or who they could be and it saddens me. That used to be me and sometimes, all those old feelings, doubts and negativity still rear their ugly heads and try to overwhelm me.

But I have learned that I do not need to have my future dictated to by my past. I am no longer the person I was.

I was born to love this life, to dance in the rain, scuff my way through autumn leaves, splash in puddles, build snowmen, explore rock pools, belly laugh until I cry, hug loved ones, share wine, chocolate and memories with my best friend and above all, to be, do and have everything I ever wanted.

Some of us start out in a difficult place. Some of us have it easier.

But it is not how we start that counts, it is how we run the course and how we finish this life that really counts.

Often the people who face the biggest hurdles are the ones who achieve the most. An easy life has the potential to make us lazy and takes away our ability to appreciate and be grateful for everything we have no matter how small or seemingly insignificant those things might be.

For it is in our gratitude for the little things that the bigger things come to us.

Life is tough.

We are here to learn and if we have no problems to face then we learn nothing.

Without darkness we cannot appreciate light.

Without tears we cannot appreciate laughter.

Without sadness we cannot appreciate joy.

Without the bad we cannot appreciate the good.

Yin and Yang.

Lessons and choices.

We weave the story of our own tapestry of Life. We choose the colors, the patterns, the images, the story – no one else creates our life. Others may try to influence us, some help, some hinder, some teach, some try to change or destroy what we are trying to create but as long as we know what we truly want from this life, as long as we hold true to our hopes and dreams and never give up we WILL create the life we want.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.

Storm clouds will always pass eventually and make way for the sun to shine.

Day will always follow night.

You will never be without love if you have learned to love yourself.

Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you cry all alone. The world is a tough place. People can be cruel but that is their problem not yours so don’t let them influence how you feel about yourself.

Always, always, always be true to yourself.

Treat other as you would have them treat you and try to see something good in everyone and everything around you. You will be surprised at how much brighter the world looks from this perspective.

We are born to laugh, to love, to enjoy and not to cry, hate or endure. Live as YOU want to live and be the person YOU want to be without fear of judgement, ridicule or criticism.

This is YOUR life, not anyone else’s and as long as you live it to he best of your ability, without negativity, cruelty, immorality, greed, hate or judgement then live it EXACTLY as you choose and be the person you choose to be and not the person other people tell you to be.

Laugh. Love. Dance. Give. Be grateful. Enjoy.

You only have one life……LIVE IT!!!!!
